Printing on paper is one of the common things in an office. May it be a report, a presentation or a document that needs to be signed; it needs to be printed on paper. Most of the time, people print a large number of copies for a document. You can reduce wasting paper by printing on both sides, especially if the one you’re printing is not an official or formal document. Save the paper, save the trees. And good thing, recycling papers are much more common now to lessen the cutting of trees, says Jon M Queen.
Jon also mentions that using a computer is one thing that’s common in an office. To trim down electricity consumption of computers, turn them off before going home. This will not only lessen the electric bill of your company, but you’ll be also helping the environment. Jon M Queen reminds that you should make sure that you don’t forget to pull the plug of your computer and equipments. Leaving them plugged in still consumes a little amount of electricity, even if it’s turned off.
These little things, if done by a large number of people, will count. Do your part in saving the planet.
