NAAAHP in 27 Cities
In an effort to celebrate and promote the National Association for African American Honors Programs and academic excellence, NAAAHP is asking you to become servant-leaders within your institutions’ local communities. NAAAHP member institutions are encouraged to engage in community delving projects designed to motivate and assist others through academic enrichment, professional development, self-awareness, and networking.
Activities may include, Voter Awareness, Financial Literacy, Read-Ins, Tutoring Programs, Homeless Shelters, Mentoring Programs, Church Programs, or the support of well-known initiatives such as Head Start and St. Jude Children Programs. Our goal is to celebrate 27 years of NAAAHP with a minimum of 27 cities in our nation, and we can only do that with your support.
Please share your photos and videos with your community efforts and signage representing NAAAHP on the website at www.naaahp.org. For example, if you are volunteering at a local elementary school, have students hold up creative signs with NAAAHP on them and snap away! Be sure to get permission for minor children postings. Moreover, feel free to post your videos and pictures on social media using the hashtag - #NAAAHP2019
The institution with the best community project, will earn a monetary award for their service agency. The amount is to be determined.
