Greetings All,

I am Kendall Lemons, and I am a product of Dallas, TX. I am currently a senior at Prairie View A&M University studying both Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. Coming into college, I had the aspirations of working on an aircraft, as I was intrigued by the idea of defying the prior belief that man would never be able to fly. However, as I’ve progressed through college, I’ve become enamored with using math and engineering tools to enhance medical delivery and disease elucidation. I am an advocate for STEM outreach in black and brown communities. There is a lack of black and brown people in STEM due to a lack of resources and exposure, not a lack of talent. As your 2020-2021 Mr. NAAAHP, I am committed to serving my immediate community and communities all over with events and initiatives that will trickle down and reach the masses.
